Center for Level B technician for operation and maintenance of sewage facilities, established by the Department of Safety, Health and Environmental Engineering, aim to train technicians for operation and maintenance of sewage facilities. The features are water quality testing and monitoring. Recent university graduates are eligible to take the certification examination of Level B technician for operation and maintenance of sewage facilities. Those who have passed the examination are qualified to conduct water quality tests such as waste water sampling and general physical and chemical biological testing.

In 2019, a total of 4 non-students participated in training courses for professionals of sewerage operation and maintenance of water quality. Those who have passed the exam are qualified to conduct solar photovoltaic system installation, maintenance and completion certification.

In 2018 and 2019 academic year, more than 200 non-students participated in training courses for professionals of solar PV system installation. After training, they conduct solar PV system installation, maintenance, completion certification and created good career development opportunities in the industry.

The main feature is workplace monitoring. Those who have completed the courses-Introduction to Industrial Health, Workplace Monitoring, Workplace Monitoring Experiment, Chemistry, and Industrial Toxicology are eligible to take the certification exam of Level A technician for testing operational environment of chemical factors. Moreover, those who have passed the examination are qualified to conduct planning, sampling, analysis, or instrumentation for workplace monitoring and workers’ exposure assessment.

In 2020, the certified Workplace Monitoring Lab and Green Power Conversion & Electrical Safety Lab can accommodate 30 candidates for the Level A technician for testing operational environment of chemical factors. Those who have passed the examination are qualified to conduct workplace planning and workers’ exposure assessment and created good career development opportunities in the workplace monitoring industry.
